Hi, I’m Chris Turner. Welcome to my site. I’m a freelance IT Consultant specialising in Enterprise and Web development. I live in Thatcham, Berkshire, UK with my wife and two lovely children. Hobbies include computing, playing poker, photography, reading and building conservation.

  • reading: just finished “Agile Web Development with Rails” - thoroughly recommended *****
  • working: between contracts. Enjoying the nice weather, getting some DIY done and learning Ruby/Rails
  • growing: carrots, parsnips, lettuce, runner beans, beetroot, cabbage, broccoli, sprouts, courgettes and pumpkins
  • playing: poker when I get the chance
