The house is drying out nicely now that the french drains are installed
and the cement render and tanking has been removed from the internal walls.
We are now in the process of removing the tanked concrete floors.

The builders have started their first stage of work. They will be removing the
rest of the cement render from the internal walls and digging french drains
along the parts of the house where the external ground levels are much higher
than the internal floors.

3rd March 2002 |

Our updated damp proposal has been accepted and we are now ready to book the
builders to begin the work.

|
We have moved into Monks Chambers. We can now start to investigate the damp
problems in a bit more detail.
