Snug

The snug is attached to one end of the living room. It looks out onto its own
patio and provides a door into the garden. This room was probably a pantry in the
original cottage configuration. This room is currently being used as storage and
for growing plants until we get the rest of the house and garden sorted out

The Snug
At one end of the snug is a steep set of old stairs that goes up into the
guest bedroom. These are undoubtedly an original of the building. They also
provided a handy way to nip upstairs without walking to the other side of the
house!

Stairs Up to the Guest Bedroom
The main work to the snug involves removing artex that was put over the original
Wattle & Daub panels. Also, the snug has a tanked concrete floor that needs to be removed
and replaced with a breathable alternative.
