Bedroom 3 / Study
This is the second largest bedroom in the house. It would quite happily
hold a double bed and all of the necessary associated furniture. We are however
using it as an office / study.

Exposed Beams
This room has a wealth of exposed beams and a lovely high ceiling. It also
contains the remnants of the chimney breast from the rear cottage(s). The majority of
the floorboards appear to be oak, although some are quite damaged and some have been
replaced with softwood alternatives. This is probably due to the main wiring run
being under the floor and thus damage by careless electricians!

High Ceiling and Beams
Our plans for this room include exposing the oak floor and repairing / replacing
the damaged or inappropriate boards, installing more appropriate lighting (to
replace the modern spotlights!), removing the artex from the ceiling,
replastering walls using lime plaster and to purchase/build some oak book cases to
house a large part of our collection of books.
